If our model and the based model change it position that mean our auto-rigging have been working
Import Blue Fang Animation (.bf) > select the animation (I use Lie_2walk.bf)> click "import BF" Step 6 : now we want to the our model in the animation, change from 2-Model to 1-Animation NOTE : don't forget to save your project. Now our model have weight paint and when you play with Pose Mode, the model should follow the based model movementĮven if you still want to check, you can just select our model > change Object mode > Weight Paint There will be notification but we can just ingnore it Next we will chose the "Source Object", we must select the based model Step 5 : now we going to transfer weight paint from based model to our model, modifier > add modifier > Data Transfer then new properties will show under the modifier Okay now the model have the vertex groups, but when we playing with the bones our model didn't not move just like the based model, this happen because our model didn't have weight paint yet. If you want to make sure if the step have been success, you can check your model should have the vertex groups now. then Ctrl+P > Amature Deform > With Empty Groups Then the bones will change color just like in this picĪfter that (still in Pose Mode) select your unrigged model > Shift + select bones then press "A" (to select all bones). Step 4 : next we make parent our model to the bones of based model, click the bones> Change from Object Mode to Pose Mode. Step 3 : now we should make our unrigged model is like the based model as close as possible, I think this is a very important step to make the auto-rigging to work.(since I use snake model, it kind easy to follow my model just like the based model) Step 2 : then we must know the different between our unrigged model and the based model, when the model is rigged, usually the model have something called "Vertex Group", and inside the Vertex Group the a list of bones that use for animation (correct me if I'm wrong )
